How’s the Toronto Real Estate Market?

Another great month in Toronto real estate: there were 14%  more sales than October 2018 and prices climbed more than they have in the last 2 years. Listings were down and competition for good properties was up. East of Yonge was on fire. It was a good month to be a Seller…and it was a good month to be a Buyer.

It’ll be interesting to see how the next few months play out – the early arrival of winter would normally signal an early seasonal slowdown, yet with so many Buyers out there waiting to find/win their dream home, I suspect we’ll see continued strong activity through November.

How’s the Mississauga Real Estate Market?

From our Mississauga agent, Nicole Harrington:

Sales were up across the board in the 905, with every property type seeing an increase to the average selling price. Lack of choice in the market with a lower number of listings and a higher number of buyers has meant good properties are selling quickly – sometimes in multiples and over asking.
In neighbourhoods with very low inventory, there seems to be a number of buyers sitting on the sidelines waiting for the next great property to come up, even as we near the end of the fall season.
