The Lowdown on Forest Hill

Your Typical Neighbour

Your typical Forest Hill neighbour is a professional family or retirees - well-heeled, educated, well-travelled, and well-connected.

What We

Homes in Forest Hill are generally grand in size, with immaculately landscaped gardens and stately facades. There remain a few medium/smaller sized homes, condos and apartments to add some flavour, but the prime streets in Forest hill are big, beautiful and costly. The area's cutural and shopping hub is Forest Hill Village (aka "the Vil'") with a fun cluster of restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and groceries.

What We Don't

This is an expensive area, and with that a lot of city grit is omitted in favour of ‘white picket fences’ (although it's more likely to be wrought iron). If you’re looking for an urban landscape with action and energy, then you might want to head elsewhere. This is a family-oriented neighbourhood and despite its central location it can sometimes feel even sleepy.
