The fact that everyone in the world wants to buy here makes me realize how lucky we are to live in such a cool, diverse and safe city.
What neighbourhood do I live in? What makes it groovy?
Lambton/Baby Point – I love it because (like every place we’ve lived) it’s one small step ahead of the gentrification/development curve. Follow where the realtors buy!

I had worked with Brendan and Melanie previously in purchasing a condo, and they were so helpful that I had no hesitation in contacting them again when I was thinking about purchasing another condo. Brendan was attentive to what I was looking for and my unique needs (I was looking for a place that would fit a grand piano). He even reached out to a colleague to ask about the logistics of moving a grand piano into a condo. When I finally found a place that I liked, Brendan guided me through the bidding process, and he even forgo his theatre tickets on offer night, to go to the condo to present the offer and then wait for the seller’s decision. Now that is what I call dedication to customer service! I am sure that I got the condo based on Brendan’s expertise and advice to increase the chances that my offer would be selected on offer night! Moreover, throughout the process, Brendan and the team at BREL were helpful and so organized, from emailing paperwork to introducing me to a real estate lawyer. I highly recommend working with Brendan Powell and the BREL team for all of your real estate needs! I had to sell my condo quickly as I had just purchased another home, and Brendan and his team were very reassuring and helpful in getting the condo ready to be listed in just 2 weeks! Special thanks to the staging team–Kiel and Jim–for making the condo look so amazing that family and friends who have seen my place many times were still amazed at how great it looked after the staging! Best of all, the condo sold in a day! And on the night that offers came in, Brendan was at his office Christmas party, but he still worked for hours throughout the night to negotiate the best deal for me. Now that is what I call dedication to customer service! It was a stressful evening, but Brendan navigated it expertly!
