About Noble Court - 24 noble street, toronto, ontario

The Noble Court Lofts is a mid-rise building of 5 stories located in Brockton Village just steps away from thriving Queen Street West. There are just 79 suites in the building ranging in size from 460 to 1300 square feet. Amenities are limited to a small multi-purpose room and 20 first-come-first-served parking spaces that leave common expenses quite low here, and the cost is one of the popular features of this particular building.

11 foot sandblasted wood ceilings hover over exposed brick, beam and column construction in these authentic hard lofts. The building was rezoned for work/live spaces in 1995 making this popular over many years with artists who have flooded West Queen West and Parkdale neighbourhoods. Natural light provided by oversized windows contributes to the spacious feeling of the open plans.

The neighbourhood is the biggest selling point for this collection of hard lofts. Steps away from Queen Street retail, residents benefit from the extensive restaurant, café, boutique and entertainment offerings that have been evolving for many years now from Roncesvalles all the way to Ossington. This is an incredibly walkable neighbourhood conveniently located on transit with few of the daily needs out of reach.

What We : Hard lofts in West Queen West are hard to come by, and Noble Lofts are some of the most authentic and affordable in the area. Cool and unique, set back away from the street but still convenient, this is a perfect building for a first-time loft owner. The lower units with exterior doors are particularly cool, although best for open-minded buyers who don’t mind being partially below grade and having parking drivers walk by their windows.

What We Don’t: Noble Court Lofts was one of the earlier conversions in the city, when many conventions like deeded parking were less ingrained. Although there is supposed to be enough parking, you are never guaranteed a particular spot. The tracks are right to the north and east (although that guarantees no building will go there!) and the older windows and heating systems have had to be upgraded over the years.
