Why do I love my job?
I love meeting interesting people, figuring out what they need and delivering it. Buying and selling is such an emotional experience and it’s so satisfying when I know I made a positive contribution to something that truly changed my clients’ lives.
What do I like best about the West GTA Real Estate Market?
My favourite thing about this market is that there is such a range of product in a relatively limited area. You can find gorgeous rural properties, turn of the century mansions, great starter homes, and new condos all within a 20-minute drive of each other. You can have exactly what you want without sacrificing the amenities offered by living close to the city of Hamilton.
What neighbourhood do I live in? What makes it groovy?
I live in St. Clair. I was initially drawn to the area because of the historic homes, generous lot sizes and tree-lined streets with terrific views of the escarpment. The strong, super family-friendly community has been an awesome bonus.
When I’m not working, you can find me….
I have two young kids so we spend a lot of time at Gage Park or playing in our backyard. My absolute favourite place to spend time and also eat in the city is the Hamilton Farmer’s Market – Market Mexican Kitchen and Mystic Ramen alone are worth the trip. It’s also connected to the Central Library which has a great kid’s section and lots of cool programming. I’m pretty content hanging out at any one of our local craft breweries – Clifford’s and Fairweather are my two current favourites.
The kind of Clients I tend to work with…
The majority of my clients are either new to Hamilton (mostly from the GTA) and/or families. I am also a Toronto transplant so I like helping other people navigate the transition. Families enjoy working with me because we speak the same “language” and each understand the unique demands on our time.
What Neighbourhoods do I often work in?
My work here has been a bit all over the Greater Hamilton Area because it’s often dictated by the needs of my buyers. Newcomers to Hamilton tend to be less driven by a need for a specific neighbourhood and more focused on what different areas can offer them within their budget. My own pocket of the lower city (around Gage Park) is really attractive to a lot of families and newcomers so we often start here and then expand our focus to other areas that also suit them.
What type of properties do I love selling?
I love selling historic homes in the lower city. I am particularly drawn to homes that have added modern amenities while respecting the original craftsmanship.

I am very good at helping buyers navigate their long list of needs/wants in tandem with the limits of their budget so they can make a confident purchase. I tailor each buyer’s experience to suit their personalities and preferences. I am forthcoming and candid particularly as it relates to the reality of making the transition from the GTA to Hamilton.
