The BREL brand is unique in the real estate marketplace, with digital marketing and gorgeous design at the core of everything we do. We’re a small (but mighty!) team of 12 agents; our digital-first approach has helped us serve more than 2,000 clients and sell more than $1 billion in real estate. 

We’re currently seeking a creative and resourceful Marketing Manager to develop and implement (mostly) digital strategies to drive brand awareness, grow our social media footprint and market our real estate listings.  

Skills & Experience 

Our Marketing Manager needs to be both a thinker and a do-er. They don’t just have big ideas – they can roll up their sleeves and implement them too (even if the budgets are small). Our ideal candidate has: 

  • A degree or diploma in marketing or communications
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience, ideally gained in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment 
  • Superb writing skills, a good eye for design and experience with video editing  
  • A successful track record creating fun and engaging content on Tiktok, Instagram and Facebook
  • Experience planning and managing a content calendar and running digital campaigns, including creating paid ads and analyzing performance metrics
  • Expertise working with WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and paid social ads

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Thinks creatively and isn’t afraid to suggest out-of-the-box ideas 
  • Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Enjoys working independently, while at the same time collaborating with the rest of our team
  • Loves details. Really, really loves details. 
  • Is just as productive working from home as they are working from one of our two offices (in the Junction and in Riverdale) 

Bonus Qualifications

  • Interested/obsessed with real estate and/or Toronto
  • Wrangling cats (aka project management)
  • Using AI to enhance (but not replace) human-written copy
  • Intermediate graphic design skills (e.g.Adobe InDesign/Illustrator)
  • Search engine optimization 

Responsibilities

  1. Content Creation: Creating high-quality, engaging content for email campaigns, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and our website (GetWhatYouWant.ca). 
  2. Copywriting: Writing compelling advertising copy to promote our real estate listings and brand. (digital and print)
  3. Social Media Management: Developing and managing our content calendar, planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns (organic and paid). 
  4. Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies, effectively managing budgets and analyzing performance metrics.
